Cardiff Clarinet Convention to take place on 30 April 2017

The 2017 Cardiff Clarinet Convention will take place on 30 April at Cardiff University School of Music. Philippe Cuper, principal clarinet with Paris National Opera, will be joining course leader Leslie Craven, principal clarinet of Welsh National Opera, in delivering a series of masterclasses, workshops and recital performances. The convention will also welcome Daniel Rye, bass clarinettist of the Welsh National Opera Orchestra, and saxophonist Jennie Porton, who will be running classes throughout the day.

The convention is for players of Grade 3 and up. The cost is £35 for adults, £25 for under-18s and £15 for students in full-time music education. The event is free of charge for students of Cardiff University School of Music.
