    Launched in 1976, our humble magazine was known back then as CASS News with our first editor Paul Harvey. Who knew at the time this would lead to the 60-page content-rich magazine we know and love today.

  • 1987

    Our first ever A4 format magazine with a feature cover of Paul Sargeant with his vast collection of single reed instruments.

  • 1998

    The magazine has a facelift with a new design and a new editor. The magazine has grown to around 50 pages.

  • 2008

    Editor Richard Edwards has evolved the magazine into a 60-page with a striking and modern cover style

  • 2016

    CASSGB celebrates its 40th birthday, with new editor Chris Walters refining the format of the Clarinet & Saxophone magazine we know today.
