Clarinettists: Participate in a survey on the perception of musical timbre

This article was posted on 7 Jun 2017.

As part of a research project on the perception of musical timbre, the Technical University of Berlin is looking for experienced clarinet performers (clarinet must be either their principal or second instrument) to complete a very short online survey. The survey involves listening to four short instrumental solo excerpts from recorded music, and describing personal impressions of each instrument's sound in one's own words. Completing the survey takes approximately 10 minutes. Click here to participate in the survey. The project leader is Dr. Charalampos Saitis, Humboldt Research Fellow from the Audio Communication Group www.ak.tu-berlin.de
