Win an Aurus 4 CL clarinet learning tool

Win an Aurus 4 CL clarinet learning tool

This article was posted on 26 Jan 2020.

For this month's competition we are giving away an Aurus 4 CL - an innovative device by German clarinet teacher Aurelian Kindilide to enable young students to start playing with just the top half of the clarinet. The device consists of a small extension that connects to the top joint of a B flat clarinet and includes a number of features to promote good hand positioning in both hands, while extending the top joint range down to include an extra note (B).

The device forms part of a wider review into 'starter clarinets' (i.e. instruments for young students who can't handle a full sized B flat clarinet) in the latest issue of Clarinet & Saxophone magazine. You can find out more about the Aurus 4 CL at aurus-for-clarinet.com and view a selection of video demonstrations by clicking here.

For your chance to win, click the tab below or send your name and address to our Membership Secretary at membership@cassgb.org. No details will be shared with third parties. Deadline: Friday 21 February.
