It is well known that British Army Music offers many opportunities to travel, not only as part of a band, but also as part of a Short Term Training Team.
In recent years, our musicians have visited around 27 countries including Ethiopia, Jordan, Uganda, Estonia and Montenegro. During their time in these countries, members of British Army Music assist with the drill and musical training of the musicians and, while doing so, learn about their culture and general way of life.
This gives our musicians a first-hand experience showing how music can bring people together from all around the world and all those involved find this to be incredibly rewarding and enlightening.
