Stephanie Reeve - Librarian and events and reviews Sub-Editor

Stephanie Reeve studied clarinet with Nicholas Bucknall at Trinity College of Music winning prizes for chamber music and woodwind performance. As a soloist and chamber musician she has performed at many venues all over the UK, has worked as a session musician and played for many theatre productions.

Now based in Cambridgeshire Stephanie works mainly for Cambridgeshire Music Service as a clarinet and saxophone teacher and as a woodwind tutor for the Cambridgeshire County Youth Orchestra. She is Principal conductor of the Palace Band and coaches Walden Winds. She regularly works as a coach for courses at Benslow Music Trust, Hitchin, and has led and assisted on many courses and play days across the country including the 2011 CASS Single Reed Day in Liverpool. As well as playing clarinet with several local orchestras Stephanie is a member of Milton Winds wind quintet. She plays baritone saxophone with sax quartet 3+1 and St.Ives Rhythm & Blues, a swing band which she also directs.

Stephanie completed an MA in Psychology for Musicians in 2007 and as part of a final year dissertation compared the ways in which adults and children learn musical instruments. She continues to take an interest in the ways in which all ages learn musical instruments. Stephanie is a reviewer for Clarinet & Saxophone magazine.
